Second episode of our queerky science nights with Life in plastic! (is it fantastic?) on Thursday April 30th 7PM at @florabarrochester💖 

Featuring Dr. Samantha “Sami” Romanick and Dr. Anne Meyer who will feed us some plastic treats! From naughty microplastics penetrating our bodies’ most intimate barriers and catfishing our hormones, to designing marine microbes within the plastics who clean up the ocean from the inside out…. and who are the brilliant women behind all this? We heard Sami’s recycling duties once reached Burning Man, outside her fellowship with the @environmentalworkinggroup. And that Anne likes feeding birds on her days off from synthetic biology as a Biology Professor at the @urochester..

It will be a night full of surprises: with fantastic special guest @thecondepr, bringing the Barbie on stage, to continue after the science talks with music curatrix @gabyxbaby for hot salsa rhythms… and a 30 minutes bachata class by your sexy host @kashmeerkalamari!
