Artist, filmmaker and RIT professor in animation, Dr. Mari Jaye Blanchard @marimator combines high and low tech processes to create animated works. Her films have screened at Annecy, SIGGRAPH Asia & more, and she has produced for Sesame Workshop, MTV, Comedy Central & Nickelodeon. A NYFA fellow and co-founder of NYC animation collective Family Camp, she’s currently finishing her 2D animated film reTIRED.. when she’s not climbing walls at Central Rock!

A love for sport and an accident-prone childhood led Dr. Aly March @alysonpalyson to a life of researching injury, bones and human motion. She’s currently a Postdoc researcher in Dr. Cherice Hill’s lab, where she investigates human motion in joint disease within community-based research.. did you know your menstrual cycle can change the way you move? 

By day, DJ for Cutting Up Men (D.J.C.U.M.) @djforcuttingupmenworks as an academic librarian; by night, they curate tunes for dance floors filled with offbeat rhythm, playful tension, and unexpected turns. Their sets balance charm, atmosphere, and movement…drawing from a deep love of late-night energy & strange little sounds.
